Hi guys welcome to kalakal kitchen . Try chicken gravy at home . chicken gravy is a stewed , non-vegetarian curry that is a big hit in Tamil Nadu . The masala paste for the chicken curry is made with aromatic spices like coriander seeds , black pepper corns , cumin seeds , poppy seeds cinnamon , cloves and crated coconut . The ingredients for the paste has to be patiently dry roasted one by one until they turns slightly brown.
Chicken gravy works best when it is cooked with sesame oil . serve hot with steamed rice and chappathi INGREDIENTS:
1. Chicken ( cut in medium size pieces)
2. Onions (chopped)
3. Tomato (chopped)
4 . Garlic cloves (minced)
5. 1 tsp -ginger ( crushed)
6. 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
7. Dried red chilies 8. 4 tsp-sesame oil 9. bay leaves
10.salt
11 .2 tsp-co
12 curry leaves TO GRIND: 1.Dried red chilies 2.2 tsp -coriander seeds 3.1 tsp-black pepper corns 4.1 tsp cumin seeds 5.1 tsp-fennel seeds 6.2 tsp-poppy seeds 7.1-pinch -cinnamon powder 8.cloves 9.cardamom
